He was born on June 17, 1959, to Robert and Dorothy Roger, who preceded him in death along with his brother, David Roger.
Daniel is survived by his children, Nicole (Jeremey) Miller of Washburn, and Daniel (Reyna) Roger of Morton, grandchildren, Sophia Roger, Easton Miller, and Isabella Roger.
He is also survived by his sister, Becky (Phil) Antrim of Pittsburg, IL, and sister-in-law, Cathy Roger of Peoria, as well as two nephews and one niece.
Dan was a man of many passions—he was a devoted Dolly Parton enthusiast, a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals, and the go-to family historian. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren and family.
He dedicated many years of hard work to Bergner’s and later a 27-year career with Mitsubishi and Subaru before his retirement.
There will be a Celebration of Life on September 20, 2025, at Davis Brothers Pizza in East Peoria, Il from 2pm to 5pm. All are welcome to come and pay their respects.
