Dear Shirley and family,

Please accept my sincere condolences upon the death of Dave. We have lost yet another Masonic brother, as well as an escort at Proctor. I went up to see him the Thursday that I saw you, but he was not able to recognize or speak to me. I was sorry that I couldn't have a conversation with him. May God comfort you and your family in the weeks to come.

We send our deepest sympathy to Shirley, and all of Dave's family. We loved having Dave as our close KTC neighbor. Such a great guy and one to be admired. We'll miss him so much during our summers at the lake. Our little dog Lizzie will miss him too - they were pals. Shirley, dear lady, our prayers are with you.

Just want to send our love and many hugs to you and your family. I was so sad to hear the news today, I feel so blessed to have known David and was able to spend time with both your mom and dad when I was in Peoria going through the unbearable times with my Dad. I feel so bad I cannot be there with you as you were for me to give you my Love and Support as you and Eileen did when my Dad passed, but know WE ARE WITH YOU. He will be missed very much. So many memories are running through my mind right many good times. Give your mom and sister hugs from Tad and I, as well as all the hugs we are sending to you Bruce and family. You know we LOVE YOU so much. Be strong my friend and know he is better now and will always be watching over you. Love you with ALL MY HEART.

Dear Shirley and family, It was my great pleasure to work with Dave at Couch & Heyle in the mid 70's, walk with Dave at the mall in the 90's and work for Dave and Shirley at their home lately. Dave was one of my all time favorite people to know; he was always upbeat when you talked to him, always friendly. A real gentlemen to know. I shall miss him, his smile, and his warmth when he talked to you.
Rest in peace my friend!!!!

We lived next to Dave for the past 11 years. Over that time we came to know and love Dave like part of our own family. He always had a smile and that wry little grin on his face. He shared many a moments with Kozmo, our dog. Dave will be dearly missed and remembered.
