Dennis Eugene Geier

He was born at Graham Hospital in Canton on July 7, 1963 to Karl and Loretta (Riekena) Geier. He married Marlyn Scheeler Buffum on December 1, 1989 at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Glasford, she survives.

Dennis is also survived by his stepson, Toby (Amanda) Buffum; granddaughter, Emma; grandsons, Trent, Trey and Trevor Buffum; stepdaughter, Jamie Buffum and grandson, Skyler Vallenatos; son, Cody (Erin) Geier; grandchildren, Ellie, Auggie and Teddy; brothers, Gary (Joanie) Geier, Dale (Belinda) Geier and Bob (Denise) Geier.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Dennis went to Illini Bluffs School, he enjoyed playing basketball and track.

He was a truck driver for Peoria Disposal/ GFL for 39 years. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, going out to Marlyn and his camper, fishing and spending time with friends.

Dennis will be greatly missed by his dog, Handsome Gizmo.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on December 3, 2024 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, Peoria, with the funeral service to immediately follow. Burial will conclude at Prospect Cemetery, Dunlap.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date at the Trolley on Farmington Rd, Peoria.
