Dennis G. Quickle II

Dennis G. Quickle, II, 50, of Peoria, passed away at 6:10 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his home. He was born July 8, 1962 in Peoria to Dennis G. and Betty J. (Dodson) Quickle. He married Michelle A. Ramirez on July 31, 2000 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Diana and Aaron “AJ” Quickle both living at home; three brothers, Kevin (Tammie) Quickle of Washington, IL, Dale (Lindsey) Quickle of Marquette Heights, and Donny Quickle of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dennis was a career Navy veteran serving in the Iraq War. While serving in the Navy reserves he also worked for Boiler Maker’s Local 37 and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. The most important thing in his life was his family. A prayer service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the chapel. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Cremation will be accorded. Entombment of his ashes will be in Parkview Mausoleum.
