Diana E. Swords Peoria Heights, IL Diana E. Swords, 51, of Peoria Heights, passed away at 8:07 pm on Friday, December 14, 2012 at her home in Peoria Heights. She was born April 22, 1961, in Peoria, the daughter of Joseph & Dorothy Chapell Stever. She married Daniel Swords in East Peoria in 1983. Surviving are her two daughters, Danielle Swords of Las Vegas, NV., and Nicole Swords of Oak Creek WI; two brothers, Michael Stever of Creve Couer and Christopher (Kathy) Stever of Washington; four nieces and one nephew; and her significant other Charles "Charlie" Nichols. Diana was preceded in death by her parents. She was a Pharmacy Tech at Kroger in East Peoria for many years. Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside memorial service will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 21, 2012. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
