Diane was preceded in death by her husband James Tanner, as well as her parents James and Velma Sturges. She is survived by her step-daughter Lori Howlett of Springfield Illinois, as well as 5 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
Diane was a well-traveled woman who has visited all seven continents. She would frequently volunteer to present slide shows at Bradley University to show places she had traveled.
