Donald Eugene Vicary, 91, of Creve Coeur, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at his home, surrounded by loving family. Born in Pottstown, on November 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Layton) Vicary. On November 17, 1956, he married Rita D. Dodd.
Surviving him is his wife, Rita Vicary; three children, Julia Bitner, Valerie (Joseph) Durbin, and Christopher (Dawn) Vicary; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; two siblings, Mary (Roger) Stone and Dennis (Karen) Vicary; and a sister-in-law, Hazel Vicary. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Anthony "Tony" Vicary, Carolyn Zeglin, and Diana Campbell; and siblings, Martyann, Richard, Walt, Marilyn, Joe, and Edna Mae.
Don was a truck driver for Rohn Manufacturing and retired after 42 years. He enjoyed skating, bowling, camping, fishing, and spending time with his large family.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Kickapoo.
