She was born April 11, 1939 in Peoria to Lloyd and Phyllis (Lightbody) Mixell. She married Randy Martin in Las Vegas. He survives along with one son, Rick (Deanna) Mertens of Morton, two grandchildren: Ashton, Megan, one great-grandson, and one sister, Sondra Taghan of Peoria Heights.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Mixell.
Donna worked as a Bus Driver for District 150 for over 20 years. That is also where she met the love of her life, Randy.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
