To the family: Dorothy will surely be missed. I will miss her big smile and kind and caring heart. I really appreciated her reaching out to me and praying for me when I was sick. She was going through her own health issues at the same time, but was thoughtful with her kind words of encouragement and prayers. I told her that I wanted my dance when we both got better, but that opportunity did not get to materialize. May you all be comforted in knowing she is resting well with the Lord. I pray for your peace and strength.

I am grateful to God for allowing me to know Dorothy and her wonderful family. We grew up going to church as young people and she was always so sweet and kind. She was my friend and I will miss that beautiful smile. My heart and prayers are with you all as you go through this trying time but remember God loves you and he heals broken hearts.
