He was born March 19, 1954 in Peoria to Edwin Dorsey and Donna Jean (Chase) Bolen, Sr. They precede him in death along with two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include three sons: Billy Bolen, Sr. of Morton, Michael J. (Bobbie) Bolen of Canton, Eddie L. (Jamie) Bolen, Jr, of Pekin, nine grandchildren, three sisters: Bonita (Edward) Bartholomew of Chillicothe, Kathleen K. Brackney of Chillicothe, Yolanda Pickrel of Galva, Missouri, and five brothers: Theodore Bolen, Sr, of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Terry Bolen of Peoria, Randy (Jeanie) Bolen of Laura, James (Kathy) Bolen of Pekin, and Dorsey Bolen of East Peoria.
Eddie worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid racecar driver and loved to fish.
Funeral services will be Thursday Sep. 16, 2010 at 12 Noon at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
