Edwin was born on October 30, 1924 in Germany to Carl and Veronica (Rathmann) Rogers. He married Eileen Semlow on June 19, 1948 in Peoria. She preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are his parents, his younger brother and his two sisters, Kathleen Roger and Irma McPhee.
Surviving is his daughter, Carole Rogers of Peoria.
Ed served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was stationed in South America. He worked for Sealtest Dairy for over 25 years as a milkman and a manager before going to work for Caterpillar.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 4:30pm to 7pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. A private graveside service will be held at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria. Memorials may be made to PAWS.
