

She was born April 3, 1936 in Jubilee Township, to John and Minniebelle (Rupp) Bleichner. Eileen married Robert Tuckey on July 11, 1954, he passed away May 10, 1994. She then married Howard Bergquist on July 12, 1998, he passed away on October 31, 2013.
Eileen is also preceded in death by her parents and her six siblings, John, George, Margaret, Sara Louise, Marilyn, Bernice.
She is survived by daughter, Annette Vandewalle; step-son, Dane (Lorraine) Bergquist of Arizona; granddaughter, Brittany (Brad) Klouda; like family, Perry (Jill) Camp; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Eileen was one of the original founding members of Prospect United Methodist Church.
Throughout her life, she wore many hats. Eileen worked with the Farm Bureau, Better Banks (formerly Dunlap Banks), and the Dunlap Veterinary Clinic.
A true people person, Eileen had the gift of making everyone feel welcome. Her laugh was contagious, and her constant companion—a Diet Coke—was never far from reach. Whether she was swimming, playing cards with friends, Eileen brought joy everywhere she went.
Her love for service extended beyond her local community. Eileen participated in Chaddock mission trips, offering support and compassion. She was also actively involved in the Masonic camping organization and NCT (National Camping Travelers).
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM, at Prospect United Methodist Church, Dunlap, with visitation being one-hour prior to service. Pastor Sylvester Weatherall will officiate. Burial will conclude at Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria.
Memorial contributions may be made in Eileen's name to the Prospect United Methodist Church General Fund or the Chaddock Children's Fund.
