Eileen M Murphy

She was born Nov. 15, 1923 in Peoria to James T. and Etta (Simpkins) McAllister. She married Richard S. Murphy. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Chris Murphy, granddaughter, Kelley Sibley; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Surviving are 7 children, Barry (Carole) Irwin, Richard W. (Barb) Murphy, Coleen (Sid) Sibley-Kimball, Brett Murphy, Jeff (Sue) Murphy, Heidi Boddy, Jayme Murphy; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Etta Ward, Evelyn Williams and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eileen was a bookkeeper at Oakfords IGA in Bartonville before retiring. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Bartonville.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Fr. David Heinz officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Church. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
