She was born Nov. 7, 1930 in Golden Gate, IL to Franklin and Nola (Kluck) Porter. She married Kenneth Kehl in Peoria on May 28, 1970. He passed away on June 11, 2006. She was also preceded by her parents; three brothers; one sister; and granddaughter, Cheri.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan (Oscar) Everett, Sheryl (Don) Maher; four grandchildren, Chris, Craig, Kyle, Crystal; and six great grandchildren.
Lou worked at K-mart and as a waitress in the Peoria area before retiring in 1988. She loved to play bingo, bowl, and the Chicago Cubs.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with Rev. Jeff Browning officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
