She was born on April 15, 1946, in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Mary and Richard Huey Darling. She married William F. Blankenship on May 7, 1966. She later married Leslie L. Tate on July 15, 1980. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2015.
Evelyn is survived by four sons, Greg (Donna) Blankenship of Metamora, Troy (Michelle) Tate of Washington, Jeff ( Donna) Blankenship of Wausau, WI, and Lee (Michelle) Tate of Washington; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Darling of Mesa, AZ, and Joseph (Barb) Darling of East Peoria; and one sister, Nancy Miller of Wellesey, MA.
She was a secretary at Oberlander Alarm until her retirement.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018, at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
