She was born October 12, 1936 in Peoria to Henry and Elizabeth (Lairden) Riecker. She married Dale “Gene” Reatherford on January 28, 1956 in Peoria. He passed away February 11, 2012 in Peoria. She is also preceded in death by her parents, one great-grandson, Easton Reatherford, and four siblings: Patricia Koehler, Mary Coker, Nancy Brown and John Riecker.
Survivors include six children: Rebecca (David) Smith of Iowa, Michael (Amber) Reatherford of Metamora, David (Jill) Reatherford of Germantown Hills, Mark (Sheri) Reatherford of Peoria Heights, Kevin (Beth) Reatherford of Washington, Paul (Gaylene) Reatherford of Florida, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one brother, Robert (Helen) Riecker of Washington, and one sister, Janice (James) Reeves of Roanoke.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
