Frances M. Shuck

She was born Feb. 19, 1921 in Roanoke to Harry and Elisa (Woltzen) Peters. She married John D. Shuck July 18, 1940 in Peoria. He passed away Feb. 9, 2013 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Peters and two sisters: Helen Brines and Sherrill Hany.

Survivors include one son, Leonard (Martha) Shuck of Indianapolis, IN, two daughters: Linda (Ken) Randle of Lake Barrington, IL, Susan (Richard) Gingerich of Dunlap, twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and three sisters: Dorothy Armstrong of El Paso, Delores Heiken of Rockford, and Ruth (Bill) Eckstein of Normal.

Frances grew up in the El Paso area. She was an avid golfer playing in the Caterpillar Golf League and in several Peoria area leagues. She was a member of the Forrest Hill United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be Saturday March 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Forrest Hill United Methodist Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to the Forrest Hill United Methodist Church.
