

Frank was born in Peoria on April 16, 1939 a son of John & Theresa (Steger) Gorman. He married Carroll Zeman in Peoria on September 9, 1967. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Donald of Crossville, TN , Ronald of Peoria, Connie Madril of Stillwater, OK , Carla (Rick) Rozema of Allendale, MI, Frank of Brooksville, FL, Christine( DeWitt) Tyree of Peoria, Coleen (Tony) Egan of E. Peoria , Claranne (Todd) Gleason of Mahomet, IL ; his siblings, Lucille Augsburger , Kathryn (Ed) Zipper , Josephine DeVriese, Edward Gorman , Marcella Frank , Robert (Betty)Gorman ; Fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, Erin Gleason; one brother, John Gorman; two sisters, Rosemary Wagenaar, and Jeannie Broughton.
Frank was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He joined the International Union of Ironworkers Local 112 at age 17, and worked until 2000 when he retired.
Frank enjoyed mowing his yard and fabricating multiple decorative pieces for the garden. He took great pride in his home in Norwood. He had a love for the St. Louis Cardinals , Chicago Bears, Nascar, and pets especially St. Bernard’s.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Father Terry Cassidy will officiate.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Burial of ashes will be in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Parkview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Bartonville Volunteer Fire Department or PAWS.
