She was born on August 9, 1946 in Peoria, to John and Myrtle (O'Brien) Sutton.
Franki is survived by her three children, Jamie (Keith Robinson) Hamrick of Peoria, Chris (Mae) Hamrick of the Philippines, and Michael Hamrick of Washington state; eight grandchildren, Shayci (Norman Saunders), Krista (Isrell Lobdell), Brendan, Shawn, David, Chris, Krishianna, and Alyssa; and ten great-grandchildren, Marcell, Zander, Dezmond, K'hlani, Da'ciyah, Mylo, Corey, Anthony, Michael, and Kayvion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Patti Jo Smithers, and her beloved dogs, Asha and Tessa.
Franki attended First English Lutheran Church in Peoria and a past member of the Covenant Church in Galesburg, where she was very involved. She worked in the Deli Department at John Bee Grocery store for many years and enjoyed dancing, singing and her favorite show was Days of Our Lives. Franki will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Franki's funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Her visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm also on Friday at the funeral chapel.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. or the Alzheimer's Association.
