He was born September 21, 1945 in Peoria to Robert and Renness (Hipple) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
He is survived by his former spouse and caregiver, Myrna Robb of Bartonville; six children, Danette (Kevin) Coffey of Peoria, Lori (Darby) Moll of Chillicothe, Fred T (Heather) Williams Jr of Manito, Cindy (Mark) Nolan of Ohio, Dawn (Matt) Atkinson of Peoria, and Shawn T (Melissa) Williams of East Peoria. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three siblings, Robert Williams of Nevada, Jackie (Tony) Engle of Nebraska, and Dave (Michele) Williams of Peoria; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bella.
Fred served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist with Caterpillar Inc. for many years retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Bartonville VFW Post 3883 and Lord's Table Church of God in Bartonville. Fred enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and singing Karaoke.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 12, 2021 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
