Frieda Doll-Respress

She was born on September 19, 1944 in Varna, IL to Raymond and Leona (Bare) Doll.

Frieda married Ronald “Ron” Respress on January 5, 2005 in Florida.

He survives. She is also survived by one sister, Fern Polidari of Peoria Heights and one step-son, Brian (Georgia) Respress of East Peoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frederick Doll and step-son, Shawn M. Respress.

Frieda worked for many years for Komatsu in the Engineering and Marketing Departments. She also worked for the Methodist College of Nursing and was instrumental in getting the college accredited. She retired in 2012.

In her younger days, Frieda was an avid skier and was a member of the Peoria Ski Club. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling with Ron all over the country, mainly with the SSR Club.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
