Gary Dean Coulter

He married Dianne on December 23, 1978, who preceded him in death on August 23, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his three daughters: Tara (Edward) Valentino of Edwards, IL, Melissa (Skyler) Vanderheiden of Peoria, IL, and Meghan (Matt) Johnson of Moline, IL. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Luca, Leia, Tanner, Gracie, Zakkary, and Bentley. Gary is also survived by his brothers, Roger (Susan) Coulter and Royal (Kathy) Coulter, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Gary worked for Peoria Disposal for 50 years and was an active member of Grace Presbyterian Church. He had a passion for oldies music and enjoyed watching baseball. Gary was a teamster and loved spending his Saturdays at Barnes and Noble, followed by dining out with his family, a pastime he greatly enjoyed.

Visitation will be held at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow, starting at 11:00 am. Pastor Roger Coulter will officiate. A committal service will take place at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
