Gina Dianne Zindt

She was born March 22, 1955 in Peoria, IL to William and Martha (Walker) Barnhart Jr. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob Zindt, on March 24, 1973 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are their three children, Amanda (Keith) Schott, Leslie Zindt both of Peoria and Robb (Jessie) Zindt of Oceanside, CA; three grandchildren, Mara Zindt, Noah Perkins, and Dalton Schott; and three siblings, Sheri (Mike) Bell of Edwards, Tony DaSilva of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Bill Barnhart of Peoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Gina graduated from the University of Illinois with a Masters Degree in Human Resources and worked many years as the Director of Human Resources at Knox College. She was a Certified Tax Consultant and was the owner of Zindt Tax Services in Peoria. Gina was a member of both Grace Presbyterian Church and Richwoods Community Church in Peoria. She loved going on cruises, traveling, reading the Bible and playing the Piano. In her retirement Gina also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and beloved dog Bella.

Cremation will be accorded and a celebration of life will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 13, 2021 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Richwoods Community Church in Peoria.
