Glenn E. Harmison, 79, of Peoria, passed away at 8:22 AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. He was born on October 7, 1938 in Peoria to Forrest G. and Hildred E. (Reedy) Harmison. He married Sandra Dodson in Peoria on October 29, 1960. She preceded him in death on January 20, 2000 in Peoria. He was also preceded by his parents and one son, Alan Harmison; four brothers and one sister. He is survived by one daughter, Sherry Bacon (Jack Pribble) of Peoria; six grandchildren; one brother Jerry (Sharon) Harmison of Varna; one sister Shirley Clark of Bartonville; daughter-in-law Cheryl Harmison; and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn had been a member of the Teamster’s Local #627 of Peoria for 25 years. He had driven for the Coleman Oil Corp. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and he loved fishing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Rev. Stephen Barch will officiate. A visitation will be an hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
