Gregory Gibson Young, 60 of Peoria passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born June 30, 1955 in Peoria, IL to Howard and DeMova (Merchant) Young. Surviving are his mother DeMova Young; son Shane (Katy) Young of Glasford; sister Lori (Ken) Hall of East Peoria; grandchildren Hailee, Cameron, Connor, and Caleb; and great grandson Aiden. He was preceded by his father Howard Young. Gregory was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Gregory loved hunting, dog training and shooting sports. He also enjoyed building computers. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials are suggested to the Timber Lake Country Club of Peoria.
