Harry A. Brunner

He was born November 30, 1934 in Peoria to Harry and Eva (Bass) Brunner. He married Barbara (Atwater) Fairburn on April 19, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV. She passed away December 22, 2022 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, Brad Barrett.

Survivors include three daughters: Karen (Teresa Trent) Giles of Austin, TX, Diana Barrett of Elmwood, Debbie (Greg) Duley of LaFayette, IN, and one grandson, Nick Duley of LaFayette, IN.

Harry was a United States Army Veteran retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He then retired after 30 years of federal service with the Department of Agriculture.

He enjoyed playing cards, especially with the Proctor Place Poker Players. He also enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family, and gardening.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Burial with Military Honors will be in Parkview Cemetery.
