Chris and Family,
We are very sad to read of Harry’s passing. Harry was my last of many bosses for my 45 year, 4 month and 8 day career at Caterpillar. I was an Electrical Engineer in Facility Engineering at the Caterpillar Mossville Engine Center from March 16, 1976 until retirement on October 31, 2008. Before that, I spent 3 years at Production Technology, Inc. in Building Y302, located on IL. RT. 29. I started the College Graduate Training program on June 24, 1963. At my retirement party, my wife, Diana, said that Harry was a really nice person. I agreed! Then I thought “Why wasn’t Harry my boss earlier?” If my memory is correct, Harry talked about a cabin on the Mississippi River.
We hope your many happy memories will help you get through this most difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. With Deepest Sympathy,
Love,
Ed & Diana Johnson
Peoria, IL.

I loved working with Mr. Harry as we lovingly called him. He would always bring us cookies or treats just to share. His heart was so big and he was a very giving person. I would ask for his help and knowledge whenever I needed something done right. He was always glad to share and help me. I will miss him deeply.
