She was born May 1, 1931 in Athens, Illinois to Robert and Bertha Jane (Craig) Ratliff. She married Richard Peters June 28, 1951 in Chambersburg, Penn. He survives along with one daughter, Karen (Fred) Lankford of Peoria; two sons: Richard Peters of Peoria, Mark (Monda) Peters of Gilbert AZ; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and two brothers.
She was a member of Richwood’s Christian Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday January 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Rev. Jim Powell will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Swan lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
