He was born on September 3, 1933 in Benton Harbor, MI to Henry and Helen (Keene) Talbert Jr. They preceded him in death, along with one son, Gregory Talbert.
Surviving are his four children, Maria Coates of Peoria, Leisa Talbert and Eric Talbert both of California, and Zelda (Kenny) Williams of Georgia; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two cousins, Debbie Adams and Mia Stevens, and his best friends Nitro and Gregory "Ghost Rider" Washington all of California.
Hank served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1953. He then worked as a Truck Driver for many years before retiring in 2000. Hank enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and C.S.I; sitting outside to enjoy the weather and counting Jeeps. He also enjoyed car shows and motorcycles, and belonged to the Rising Sons Motorcycle Club.
A graveside service will be at 2 pm on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Camp Butler Cemetery in Springfield, IL. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
