He was born March 12, 1951 in Peoria to Roy and Dorothy (DeFraine) Stiger. They preceded him in death along with one brother, Roy Stiger and one sister, Cindy Heartstirn.
Survivors include four siblings: Jane Carlock of Peoria, Sandra (Lester) Courtway of Sparland, John Stiger of Arizona, and Jerry Stiger of the St Louis area.
Jimmy worked in the kitchen at OSF St Francis Medical Center of many years then worked at the Community Workshop in Peoria. He enjoyed all animals especially birds and squirrels.
Graveside services will be Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
