I am a classmate of Jim's from the Class of 1962 in Mechanicsburg. Being a small town I knew his family well. Jim was always a kind and friendly classmate.
Please let Bill and his mother know that they are in my prayers and am sending them my thoughts.

Dr Violet performed emergency knee reconstruction on me in 1990. He knew that my college dream was to be a Navy pilot and attend the Naval Academy. After a year of rehab at his office, I was readmitted to USNA, played 4 years of collegiate volleyball and am still enjoying a Navy career. None of that would have been possible without Dr Violet's surgical skill and careful attention to my rehabilitation. I am forever grateful. My sincerest condolences on your loss.

We are so saddened to hear of Jim’s death. We know he’d been sick for some time, but the finality of death always takes us by surprise. We remember you and Jim with such fondness thru many years together in Canton. Please know that you and the children are in our thoughts and prayers
