Jason Porter

Jason was born on September 1, 1983, the son of JB Patterson and Carol Porter. Jason attended Peoria Central High School in Peoria and continued his education at University of Phoenix.

Jason had a life altering accident in 2003 but that never stopped him from enjoying life, raising his only son Jason Jr, and being a motivational mentor to his family, friends and other people with life changing disabilities. He was full of life and brought laughter to every conversation. His smile and words of wisdom made anyone he came in contact with light up with joy.

Jason leaves to cherish his precious memory: his son, Jason (Lil Jay) Porter Jr, of Peoria, IL; his mother of Peoria; his maternal grandmother Dorothy Watson, of Peoria, IL; three sisters, Gerry Davis, of Peoria, IL; LuWanda Patterson, of Peoria, IL; and Donna Patterson, of Peoria, IL; one baby brother, Justin Porter (Cassandra Porter) of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jason was preceded in death by his father JB Patterson, maternal grandmother Thelma Bonds, paternal grandfather James Porter and brother Stephen Porter.

Jason's funeral service will be private at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Pastor Greg Washington will officiate. Words of comfort can be shared with the family at www.Davison-Fulton.com.
