He was born on February 17, 1952 in Anniston, AL, the son of Clyde Dean and Ella Mae Pierce Connor. He married Dr. Zayna McGinnis on May 31, 1981.
Jerry is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years; one son, Stan Wood of Chicago; one brother, Randy Connor of Creve Coeur; two sisters, Donna (Roger) Allen of Creve Coeur and Sharon (Steve) Camp of Creve Coeur.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Marsh.
Jerry was an independent owner of his own trucking company.
He was a proud friend of Bill Wilson.
Jerry loved to go fishing, listen to Blue Grass Music, and ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was a mechanical genius; he could fix anything.
Jerry was deeply dedicated to helping others.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Pastor Otha Boyd will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
