Jill Denise Sanford, 68, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on April 4, 1954 in Peoria, a daughter of George Edward and LeeAnn (Pringle) Taborn.
Jill is survived by her two daughters, Corey Sanford of Peoria and Salee Taborn-Sanford of Peoria; four grandchildren, Caleb Barnes, Gregory Becton, Gavin Taborn-Sanford, and Geordn Becton, all of Peoria; and one sister, Deborah (Dennis) Fulk of Lake George, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Mark Taborn; and one infant sister, Brenda Taborn.
Jill last worked as a caregiver for Help At Home for 15 years, retiring in 2019. She also worked for Lutheran Social Services for many years, was a hairdresser for 30 years, and began working for the Peoria Park District.
Jill loved music, especially classic rock and roll and country. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping and rock hounding.
There will be no service. Cremation has been entrusted to Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to her family to assist with cremation expenses.
