John will truly be missed. We our thankful for the time God allowed him to be with us. Uncle Shelby and I enjoyed being on the same bowling team with John. He was a great bowler and a wonderful nephew who loved his entire family. We send our love and condolences to Brother Charles, the children, the siblings and to the entire family. Praying God gives you strength and peace during this difficult time.

My heart is saddened over the loss of John. I have only known him a short time. I met him shortly after he moved into Maple Lawn Apts in Eureka. He was a very caring, polite and a true gentleman. Everytime he say me in hallway or outside, he lways said hi and asked how I was going. He went to an outdoor band concert this summer with a group of us here at Five Points in Washington. It was a Jazz concert from a group of men at Bradley. He helped me move a friend here in the building. He came to several cookouts I had here. He is really going to be missed around here. My sympathies to all his family.

I pray that the Gibbs family will receive comfort, peace and joy from the Lord during this great loss. I met John in the Taft Homes. He was a member of the group, "Starlites". He could really sing those high notes from the Manhattans, EWF, Dramatics and other R& B songs. My stepfather, Billy Beavers Jr. was their manager. I learned how to sing harmony and dance from watching their practices. RIH John! Love Harvey
