Born Nov. 5, 1947 in Peoria to Henry and Elizabeth (Laridaen) Riecker. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Patricia and Nancy.
Surviving are 3 sisters, Frances Reatherford, Mary (Dave) Coker, Janice (James) Reeves; 1 brother, Robert Riecker; and several nieces and nephews.
John was a US Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He worked in the warehouse at Pioneer Park Supply Company in Peoria.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Burial of ashes will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in West Peoria at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to T.A.P.S. in Pekin.
