Jonathan David Coulter Sr., 63, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born on March 19, 1958 in Peoria, Illinois to Reuben Walter and Grace Yvonne (Staub) Coulter.
He is survived by three children, Jonathan Coulter Jr., Jessica Coulter and Christopher Coulter all of Peoria, Illinois; four siblings, Steven Coulter, David Coulter, Rodney Coulter and Diane Basile all of Peoria, Illinois; several nieces and nephews survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eugene Coulter.
Jonathan worked as a welder for over 11 years for Komatsu America Corporation in Peoria. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local 158, loved music and playing his guitar. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening and taking care of his flowers in his yard. He loved going to car shows and attending concerts. He truly loved his family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel. Pastor Joey Watt will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral chapel. Cremation rites will follow services. Memorials may be made to his family.
