So sorry to hear of your family's loss. I was a patient of Dr. Hernandez and did not find out until today of his passing. Dr. Hernandez was a wonderful man and doctor to his patients! He even took the time to call me twice at home to personally further explain my medical condition. I was very impressed and touched by him taking the time to go above and beyond.

I am so sorry to hear that Jose passed away - I only found out today and I am in total shock. I remember him as always having a fantastic sense of humor and loving life to the fullest. He accomplished much in his life and I know he inspired many. It's sad he had to leave at still a young age but I like to think of it as maybe God has bigger plans for him where ever he is now. God bless his family - I'm sure they feel blessed that he was a part of their lives and that his spirit will always be with them.

I just heard of Dr. Hernandez's passing today. I was a relatively new patient of his, but during my visits and procedures, he made me feel as if he had been my physician for years. He was very kind and always made me laugh. He truly made a lasting impression in just a short time.

My prayers are with you. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am very saddened to hear this news. Dr. Hernandez was probably the most personable doctor I have had the privilege of knowing. In my book he stands head and shoulders above all of the other doctors of whom I have been a patient.

We are heartbroken to hear of this tragic news. Dr H was one of the best residents of Urology at WMC. His kindness and passion for his patients started over 30 years ago. His life however was his family. With deep sadness, Dr Stanley and Penny Kogan , NY
