Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Louie Ulrich, her son-in-law Gary Whitman, her grandson Matthew Whitman, her siblings Catherine Tambaro, Santa Henderson, and Angelo Ierace.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Kathy(Mike) Levine, Sandy Whitman, Diane(Billy) Dixon, 9 grandchildren Jennifer, Brion, Suzanne, Jonathan, Amy, Jeremy, Michelle, Billy Jr, and Katie. As well as 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Josephine married Louie on October 27th 1951 in Peoria IL. She worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance for over 30 years before retiring. She loved Bingo and played every Tuesday night for several years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Josephine was proud of her Italian heritage and held the role of matriarch of her family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd from 5pm to 7pm. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd at St. Ann's Catholic Church 1010 S Louisa St. Peoria IL 61605 from 9am to 10am with the service to follow at 10am. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery 2105 W Heading Ave. West Peoria IL 61604
