She was born March 8, 1955 in Pike County, Missouri, to Mariam Thomas. She preceded her in death.
Julie graduated from the Methodist Medical Center of Illinois School of Nursing in 1981. She met the love of her life, Vernon “Andy” Andrews and they were married Feb. 16, 2003 in Dunlap. He passed away June 19, 2020 in Dunlap.
Survivors include two step children, who she considered family: Caroline (Rick) Heywood of England, Kevin (Moraig) Andrews of France, three step-grandchildren: Louisa and Christopher Heywood of England, Barnaby Andrews of France, and her beloved cat Dobby.
Julie was a skilled nurse working in the Peoria area until her retirement.
Julie was a wonderful and caring daughter, loving wife, and special friend to all who knew her.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, whose sole mission is to save children’s lives.
