June L Lewis

She was born Feb. 3, 1933 in Peoria to Earl and J. Lucille (Smith) Raymond. She married Frank J. Lewis March 24, 1951 in Henry. He passed away March 23, 1999 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include five children: Karen Duttarer of Frisco, TX, Thomas (Patti) Lewis of Bright, IN, Greg (Janet) Lewis of Bartonville, David (Penny) Lewis of Buckeye, AZ, Joel (Michelle) Lewis of White Oak, WV, sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, three sisters: Virginia (Don) Wolland of Peoria, Velma Smith of Peoria, Carol (Bud) Witter of Goodfield, and two sisters-in-law: Trudy Tow of Peoria, and Kay Raymond of Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

June was a House Mother at the Methodist School of Nursing for 22 ½ years retiring in 1998.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, and the Bartonville American Legion Post 979 Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be Thursday Aug. 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Entombment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in Parkview Cemetery.
