Karen was cherished by many family members, friends, and neighbors who loved her dearly and provided her with much support throughout her life.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald James "Ronnie" Buss and Margaret Ann Heiden.
She spent her career as a dedicated secretary, initially working for Conoco, Inc. in Houston before serving at the Federal courthouse in Peoria until her retirement in 2012.
Karen had a passion for poodles and enjoyed spending her time watching game shows and cooking shows. She was also an avid knitter and crocheter.
Above all, Karen was a wonderful friend to those who knew her.
