She is survived by her son, Zachary Burton of Peoria; seven grandchildren Zarious - who lived with her, Naliegha, Aziah, Karielle, Zareon, Zalayia, and Legacy; a brother, Bob (Karen) Burton of WI; two sisters, Karen Bennett and Krista Bieneman, both of Peoria; and many nieces and nephews.
Karol was employed as the Director of Human Resources at Facet Technologies for many years. Special appreciation to Facet Technologies for their constant support during her extended illness. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she enjoyed spending time with them.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice. Condolences and memories may be shared through Davison-Fulton.com
