She was born January 3, 1921 in Trivoli, IL the daughter of Charles and Lula Friend. She married William Wright in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1962.
Kate is survived by her children; Lula (Edward) Parker of Peoria, Ruth (David) Feldmann of Molalla, OR, and Franklin (Tisha) Wright of Gerald, MO; ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, and three sisters; one daughter, Eileen Reising and one son Raymond Lee Wright.
Kate worked as clerk at K-Mart and in housekeeping at Foster and Gallagher until her retirement.
She was a member of Galena Road Baptist Church.
Kate loved gardening and being with her family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Hawley Cemetery.
