Kenneth Wayne Moss

We sadly say goodbye to Kenneth Wayne "Kenny" Moss, 73, of Groveland, IL. Kenny passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL, his loving daughters by his side. He was born on October 5, 1951 in Christopher, IL., the eldest son of Joe Kenneth Moss and Anna Fae (Hill) Moss.

He is survived by his daughters, Joann Moss [Denny Smith] of Hermitage, TN and Julie (Moss) Maag [Brody] of Peoria, IL; beloved grandchildren, Taylor Moss [Alexandra], Holiday Maag, Angus Maag, Scarlett Maag, Elliott Maag; his mother, Anna Fae Moss of Groveland, IL; his sister, Charla Moore [Michael]; and brother, Lloyd Moss [Shana].

Kenny was preceded in death by his father; Joe Moss and brother; Richard Moss [Kathi].

He graduated from Pekin High School in 1969 and worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 30 years, from 1973 until his retirement in 2003. He filled his time after retirement as a motorcycle mechanic at Walter Bros. Harley Davidson.

Kenny walked through life with a gentle strength. He was a provider, a loyal friend, and an avid outdoorsman. He truly cherished moments with his loved ones.
