She was loved and will be missed by her mother, Janet Logue, father and step-mother, John and Julie Ingles, sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Gregory Foster, her stepbrothers, Travis Bornsheuer, Shawn (Melissa) Harrison, Todd (Kelsey) Harrison; and many nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Her grandparents, Bill and Hazel Logue, and Gail and Emma Ingles, and uncle, William "Bill" Logue preceded her in death.
Kristen graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics. She was also a Certified Medical Lab Technician. Kristen had worked in the past as a Lab Scientist for OSF St. Joseph Hospital in Bloomington and OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.
Kristen was a passionate advocate for mental health issues and for the humane treatment of animals. Kristen was also passionate about music, literature, and especially film. She was also very interested in scientific discovery, especially regarding the cosmos.
For those who knew her, Kristen was one of the most beautiful, most intelligent, and most humorous persons to have ever lived. Kristen was kind and caring to all living things and always sought to make a positive impact on the world around her.
A memorial reception and service will be held on Saturday September 15, 2018 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm at Davidson-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) at https://www.nami.org/# and the American Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) at https://secure.aspca.org/donate/memorial, organizations that Kristen supported and advocated for.
