I am still numb with disbelief that you have left the world so suddenly. Although it's been nearly 25 years since we've seen each other, we had so much in common. I wish that we could have gotten to know each other better as adults, Kristen. Your memory is very bright in my heart. You will never be forgotten.

Usually, I have no troubles figuring out what to write because I love writing, but I find myself just sitting here staring blankly at the screen trying to figure out what to say. Kristen is one of my favorite people. She was probably the kindest person I have ever met. Always nice even if she wasn’t having the best day. I regret that I didn’t make time for her in the last year. Life kind of took off and though I thought about her, I didn’t reach out as much as I wanted to. I’m sorry Kristen. I know we would have just gone back to laughing and making fun of ourselves like no time had passed. I have so much to talk to you about. I will try to be more like you. I guess that’s what I’m learning from this. The world needs more Kristen’s. You have left a void that we will all try to fill. Till we meet again Earth Angel.

I have so many fun memories of playing with my cousins when I lived near and them and then when we got to come and visit. Elizabeth and Nathan and I would try to get our little cousins (Rachel and Kristen) to stop following us everywhere! I remember us convincing and bribing Kristen to walk down the aisle as the cutest flower girl in Aunt Mary Ann’s wedding. It was so funny! I was so excited when she was born that I named my preemie cabbage patch kid after her! Ha! We love you guys!

Though we have always lived far apart, our thoughts are very close to you at this time because of the empty place we now have in our family. We send our love and prayers in the memory of our sweet cousin, Kristen, and cherish the memories of playing together in Illinois when we were little.
Love,

The girls were so young when you moved away but those early years are some of our great memories. Our sympathy on the loss of such a young, beautiful woman. She appears to have touched many hearts. Our love and prayers go out to all of you.

Beautiful Kristen...I love that I saw you very recently at your Mom’s, and you couldn’t have happier. You were sporting a darling new haircut. I didn’t know then it would be the last time I would see you on earth. So I will cherish the memory of your beautiful smile and your parting words to us-Have Fun! I know one thing for sure...how very much your Mom loves you.❤️
