Lauree Geraldine Gardner, age 90, of Peoria, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at OSF St Francis Hospital in Peoria. She was born December 17, 1926 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to William E. and Amilia (Frieden)Anliker. Lauree married the love of her life Roland C. Gardner on August 17, 1953 in Peoria IL. He preceded her in death in 2001.
Also preceding in death were her parents; one brother; four sisters; a daughter, La Donna M. Daniel; and son, Keith C. Gardner. Surviving are her sons, Michael Gardner of San Francisco, California, and David Gardner of Chicago, Illinois; and her sister, Bernice Anliker McCormick of Chillicothe. Lauree worked at OSF St. Francis Hospital and retired in 1966.
Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday August 12, 2017 at Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with visitation two hours prior to the service. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
