

She was born on February 19, 1948 in Peoria to Jack H. and Mary Ellen (Abel) Miller, Sr.
Linda was a graduate of Limestone Community High School in Bartonville in 1966.
She married Dennis E. Lochbaum on April 30, 1976 in Las Vegas.
Surviving are her three children, Matthew (Dawn) Lochbaum of Germantown Hills, Andrew Lochbaum of Princeville, and Douglas (Joanne) Lochbaum of San Antonio,Tx; eight grandchildren, Sydney and Jacob Lochbaum, Hayden and Owen Lochbaum, and Dane, Caden, Carter and Declan Lochbaum. Also surviving is her sister-in-law and friend, Debbie Miller; niece, Cortlin (Shane) Meadows; nephew, Curtis (Jackye) Miller; and many great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Dennis of 37 years; and her brother, Jack H. Miller, Jr.
Linda was employed and retired from Caterpillar for over 30 plus years of service, of which she was very proud . She also partnered with Dennis in their trucking business, Lochbaum Trucking.
After years of living in the city, Dennis and Linda built their country home. She enjoyed her quiet country living. A true farmer at heart, one of her best presents was the donkey she received from Dennis for her birthday. She fed her cattle and grew her favorite vegetables. She was the queen of making homemade chocolate syrup. Her family will cherish the memories of the Lochbaum bon-fires.
When Linda loved something she loved it completely. An example of that, she was a proud parent of the JFL Program and Peoria Central Football where her three sons attended and played football. Another example of that, she and Denny loved riding their Harley Davidson with their friends. If you were one of those friends or family member you can still hear Denny saying “Come on Lou let’s go!”
Linda’s love of her family, a historian of our family, and the best storyteller of the past.
She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and they will always remember their OMA.
Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Linda's memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children Hospital of Illinois 530 NE Glen Oak, Peoria, IL 61637.
