She was born August 7, 1940 in Peoria to William and Betty (Funkhauser) Parker. She married Jerry A. Sample, Sr in Peoria on April 18, 1959. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons: Michael (Rhonda) Sample of Peoria, David (Lisa) Sample of Omaha, NE, Jerry (Lori) Sample, Jr of Wood River, NE, William (Tara) Sample, Sr of Peoria, one sister, Carol (Ron) Siebels of Salmon, ID, 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Linda was a homemaker and worked for School District 150. She enjoyed rocking out with Adam Lambert and Queen on YouTube and relaxing with Barbra Streisand.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Private graveside services will follow the visitation in Parkview Cemetery.
