Linda Stambaugh, 70, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Carle Health - Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on October 7, 1953 in Peoria, a daughter of Elmer Jarvis Griffin and Juanita (Feagin) Griffin. She married William Dean Stambaugh on November 7, 1985 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1998.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David Griffin and Charles E. "Chuck" Bazzel.
Linda is survived by her son, Jason Colby Mizell of Peoria; two sisters, Sherry Guthrie and Donna Street; and brother, Gary Griffin.
She worked in the cafeteria for Peoria Public Schools District 150 for many years, retiring in 2010.
There will be no service. Cremation has been entrusted to the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
